Meet Maxine, a Maltese x Shih Tzu of around 1-2 years of age. Maxine was brought into the salon where i groom, very fearful & matted to the skin from nose to tail, you couldn't actually feel the skin of the dog, all you felt were large clumps of matts. Maxine's fringe was covering her eyes and underneath the fringe was months worth or tear stain discharge around the eyes. To get the clippers into the coat I had to scissor down the middle to try and make a part to get my #10 blade into her coat. I didn't know what I was going to find under that coat! After a good hour of clipping I finally had a puppy underneath all of that fur! As you can see Maxine was much happier after her shave down, her tail wouldn't stop wagging!
