Puddy came to me after I had already groomed his brother & sister (Willie & Maggie) the prior week. When Willie & Maggie came in they were matted to the bone and stunk really bad. Of course they wanted to save any hair that could be saved. Needless to say Willie & Maggie were a #7 strip. So now I get Puddy and he is terribly matted. With great pains I thought he could be dematted. His owner asked us to give him a puppy cut or save some hair? I told him I would see what I could do. After 2 hours of brushing & dematting Puddy was ready to be shampooed (several times). Poor thing smelled like a mixture of urine and ashtray! I was very pleased with Puddy's results, and as with all my new clients they get a framed glamour shot of their clean angel. (this is to entice them into keeping their loved one like this) When Puddy's dad arrived to pick him up, I carried him proudly to the front beaming with glea, only to get the response. "Oh, I thought you were going to make him look like Willie & Maggie." So needless to say Puddy received 2 haircuts that day! Anything to please the customer right?! At least Puddy will be happier longer.
