Emmy

This is Emmy, one of the sweetest shih tzus I've ever had the joy to work with. When Emmy was brought in for the first time, she was brought by the owner's family member, who was appalled at Emmy's neglect. Not only was she filthy and matted (from being forced to live outside) she was covered in fleas and had no current vaccinations. The doctors at the veterinary hospital where I work took care of her medical needs, and I began to search for the dog under all the hair. That was the beginning of Emmy's new life with her new dad. Now, Emmy comes to see me every fourth Saturday. Her new dad spoils her to no end, and has confessed to being teased by co-workers for taking better care of Emmy's hair than his own!
